Dr. Nagy is the best at what he does! He has a wonderful bedside manner and was extremely awesome with all of my questions. The Treatment Process
The procedure may take 15 to 20 minutes to perform. All makeup is removed before the procedure. A topical antiseptic may be applied to prevent bacterial infections during the injection process. After this step, the injections of VOLBELLA® are delivered.
Juvéderm® VOLBELLA® contains lidocaine in small quantities. This local anesthetic numbs the region to any pain, making the filling process more comfortable.
VOLBELLA® Aftercare
You can return to your everyday activities immediately following your Juvéderm® VOLBELLA® treatment session. No downtime or recovery time is needed.
Avoid any strenuous activities, including exercising, for 24 hours. You will also have to avoid sun exposure and exposure to heat during this period, along with alcoholic drinks.
These steps help to prevent swelling, redness, or feelings of itchiness at the injection site. You may have to apply ice packs to swollen areas. All post-procedural effects usually disappear after a week.
